Site Administrator is required for a specialist commercial company who services specialise across the food manufacturing industry.
Initially, this role will be employed on a temporary basis with the view to be made permanent within 3 months. If you're available immediately this would be advantageous.
We are looking for someone who has experience within food manufacturing or a food environment and a passion for promoting recycling with the ability to be creative with waste ideas.
As Site Administrator, you will be working full-time on-site mainly at the Liverpool site (4 days a week) but also spend a day at Manchester, so you must be able to drive between the sites (you will be paid mileage for any travel to Manchester).
In reward, you will be paid a salary of c. £28,000 p.a. plus benefits.
This is an exciting role, as it's not a 'standard, sit at your desk office job'. This is a role where every day is different, and you will be very active within the factory building relationships, speaking to external partners, and maintaining dashboards.
Responsibilities:
1. Communicate and execute imperfect product sales agenda and waste streams reporting into the central administration team.
2. Organise collection opportunities for imperfect product.
3. Work collaboratively and escalate any potential risks.
4. Report on waste streams progress on a weekly basis to stakeholders.
Requirements:
1. A food safety certificate/qualification or an environmental related degree.
2. Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
3. Logical mind and an eye for detail.
4. IT literate, especially within MS Excel and PowerPoint.
5. Excellent communication skills.
