About the role:
The role of the Senior Account Manager is to work across several of the agency’s key clients, on both a campaign and retained client basis. The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for delivery and execution of quality creative work predominantly on social, but should have experience in other channels. This person will be a leader, be a trusted contact for the client and will be able to own a room, a production and a publishing plan. This role is most suited to a candidate who prides themselves on attention to detail, loves to throw themselves into a project and thrives in a fast-paced, high energy environment.
You will be responsible for:
* Oversight and successful day-to-day running of your client accounts/projects and their subsequent deliverables (with support from the Head of Client Services where required).
* Developing strong relationships with your day-to-day clients, immersing yourself in their business and becoming a guardian for their brand.
* Campaign execution across social, digital, and traditional media.
* Proofing content ahead of submission to the client to ensure that it meets their strategy, brand objectives and guidelines.
* Taking a lead on financial management and budget tracking across accounts - working with the production & projects teams to ensure that client projects and campaigns are coming in within budget - ensuring this is reported to the leadership team.
* Creating project schedules and timelines, ensuring that all stakeholders keep to project deadlines.
* Problem solving client and campaign challenges with both creativity and feasibility in mind - with support from the Head of Client Services and interdisciplinary team.
* Identifying any further opportunities to secure incremental revenue increases from existing clients.
* Being an escalation point for clients where needed
* Support on forecasting and reporting client revenue, margin and profit for your clients to the Senior Leadership Team.
Experience and skills required:
* Ability to own and execute integrated content strategies on behalf of clients
* Experience in managing client retainers for always on social media management
* Confident liaising with and presenting to clients
* Experience managing a team
* Experience leading on client accounts
* Commercially aware, and always on the lookout for repeat and new business opportunities
* Understanding of deliverables within client contracts and scopes of work
* Effective communicator
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Excellent written skills with an acute attention to detail
* High energy and positive team player
* Familiarity with social analytics and media terminology
