We are currently partnering an established Law Firm who have been practicing for 35-years, who are recruiting for a number of permanent Post-Completion Assistants to join the team in one of the below office locations.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
The roles can be based from: Coventry or Leamington Spa.
The roles are full time, offering a negotiable salary, and the start date will be subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Providing full support to the Conveyancing Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently
* Ensuring that all post-completions processes are finalised, including paying stamp duty to HMRC, serving any notices to landlords, registering new owners with the Land Registry, requisitions and ledgers
* Preparing correspondence using the case management system
* Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person
* Handling any administrative tasks, including administering filing systems, preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch, and arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork
Experience required:
* Ideally some experience within a residential conveyancing team
* Good telephone manner, and being comfortable speaking to clients in person and on the telephone
