EY:
At EY, you'll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself and a better working world for all.
EY is one of the largest student employers in the UK, recruiting around 2,500 students every year into Apprentice and Graduate programmes and a broad range of work experience opportunities. We attract over 75,000 candidates each year.
Our vision is to become the leading and most innovative student recruitment attraction team, revolutionising how we engage and attract top talent from universities and schools.
The Opportunity:
The Candidate Experience team (CES) is responsible for attracting, engaging, and delivering the best and most diverse candidates to the firm’s school, through a mixture of digital platforms. You will help implement a best-in-class candidate experience at all stages.
You will work closely with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to execute and deliver the candidate engagement and sourcing strategy that is focused on filling regional hot spots and creating diverse talent pools.
Your Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for talent who are passionate about candidate experience, bringing in the latest sourcing ideas to attract and engage with school leaver and graduate talent.
You will proactively build and manage talent pools through LinkedIn and Handshake, run digital recruitment marketing and attraction activities to help convert passive job seekers to applicants, support pipeline management & delivery, respond to candidate questions, and help deliver the rollout of our onboarding strategy.
You will also be involved in planning and running innovative candidate engagement events, both digital and in person by region, alongside delivering on internal team projects.
Key aspects of the role:
You'll have a real passion for student recruitment, with innovative ideas for physical and virtual content that will create a big impact.
To qualify for the role, you’ll have some of the following:
* A passion for student recruitment, with prior experience in recruitment marketing or a desire to learn.
* Strong data skills with the ability to spot anomalies and tell stories with that data; you should be confident using Excel and/or Power BI.
* Relationship-building skills – with the ability to challenge where necessary, always acting with integrity and enthusiasm.
* Proven ability to work autonomously and to high standards, able to take the lead on assigned projects using knowledge to achieve quality results.
* Able to spend up to 40% of your time travelling at seasonal peak periods.
Ideally, you'll also have:
* Some experience in either university or schools recruitment (ideally both).
* Experience of direct headhunting and sourcing through LinkedIn and/or Handshake, or similar.
* Experience of public speaking/delivering workshops to students.
* An understanding of undergraduate and schools work experience programmes.
* Experience of managing campaigns for multiple positions and building candidate pipelines.
* Social media knowledge and experience.
* Ability to quickly prioritise work and remain flexible in accordance with business needs.
* Involvement in cross-team projects and initiatives to support the wider team.
What we look for:
We are a large team based around the UK, working as one team to deliver the most exceptional student experience. If you share that passion, we'd love to hear from you.
What we offer:
We offer a competitive remuneration package where you'll be rewarded for your individual and team performance. Our comprehensive Total Rewards package includes support for flexible working and career development.
Plus, we offer:
* Continuous learning: You'll develop the mindset and skills to navigate whatever comes next.
* Success as defined by you: We'll provide the tools and flexibility, so you can make a meaningful impact, your way.
* Transformative leadership: We'll give you the insights, coaching and confidence to be the leader the world needs.
* Diverse and inclusive culture: You'll be embraced for who you are and empowered to use your voice to help others find theirs.
If you can demonstrate that you meet the criteria above, please contact us as soon as possible.
The exceptional EY experience. It's yours to build.
