RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate with design and development of core systems.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations to ensure seamless integration and delivery of a feature.
3. Help drive technical innovation and excellence, optimising code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
4. Work with designers and producers to translate creative concepts into reliable software solutions.
5. Be responsible for your own work, collaborating in code reviews and contributing to the quality of the code base.
6. Share progress with your team, reporting to technical leadership and production, collaborating with the wider team and being an active participant in team culture.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. 3+ years experience in software engineering, preferably within game development.
2. Strong experience working in C++ software development at a professional level.
3. Experience debugging complex bugs through multiple techniques.
4. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and OO design principles.
5. Ability to quickly understand existing and unfamiliar code and modify it.
6. Experience communicating and collaborating with multiple disciplines.
7. Familiarity with scripting languages e.g. Python, Lua and C#.
8. Experience working on PC and either/or PlayStation and Xbox.
