The role will involve speaking to patients, relatives, carers and members of the public ensuring that any enquiries are handled in a caring, compassionate, and professional manner so you need to have a calm disposition and be able to use all types of media such as Microsoft Teams, phone, email and occasionally be able to meet face to face when supporting local resolution meetings.
The role will involve coordinating and writing complaint responses on behalf of the Care group and will involve liaising with other care groups when the complaint is about cross care group services.
This is a new role to the organisation as you will not only support the patient experience agenda but support the care group to deliver effective governance processes in patient safety and quality by offering administration support to the Safety and Quality improvement manager and Deputy and supporting the Care Group leads in delivering the patient safety, quality, governance, and patient experience agenda. You will work as part of the experienced proactive Care Group patient safety and quality team and can be based either in our Exeter or Barnstaple offices and can work as part of a hybrid office-based and work from home model.
Working Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
