We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Female Support Worker to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health and autism, as well as experience supporting individuals who engage in self-harm. You will also have experience working with children in a care or support setting.
Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centered support to individuals with mental health conditions and autism.

Offer emotional and practical assistance to those who engage in self-harm, promoting positive coping strategies.

Support children with their daily routines, emotional well-being, and development.

Implement care plans and risk assessments tailored to individual needs.

Encourage independence while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.

Keep accurate records of support provided and report any concerns.
Requirements
*
Experience working with mental health and autism in a professional setting.
*
Previous experience in self-harm support and working with children.
*
Empathetic, patient, and resilient with excellent communication skills.
*
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
*
Relevant qualifications in health and social care (desirable but not essential).
*
DBS check required (or willingness to undergo one).
*
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.
