Are you an experienced Internal Sales Executive looking for a new opportunity in a thriving industry? Our client, a well-established business within the metals sector, is seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in sales support and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
Work alongside the External Sales Team to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth.
Provide high-quality customer service, responding to client enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
Assist in preparing quotes, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records within the CRM system.
Support marketing initiatives by preparing sales materials, proposals, and contracts.
Proactively identify potential leads through research and cold calling.
Maintain and update sales documentation, ensuring smooth processing of contracts, orders, and reports.
Collaborate with various teams, including marketing, product, and customer service, to enhance the overall sales process.
Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to contribute to sales strategies.
Key Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an internal sales or sales support role, preferably within a commercial or metals/manufacturing industry environment.
Strong ability to manage client relationships and drive customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive and results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently.
Relationship building and networking skills.
Sales and business development acumen.
Resilience and the ability to handle challenges effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective time management and ability to multitask.
Package & Benefits:
Office-based role: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:15 pm (45-minute lunch break).
23 days annual leave, increasing to 28 with service, plus Bank Holidays.
