Role Overview:
As the Executive Assistant/General Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the operational success of our home by overseeing a variety of administrative tasks that help deliver top-quality care. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, residents, and their families to ensure everything runs efficiently and in compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily Operations: Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including staff scheduling, record-keeping, and facility reports, ensuring a seamless workflow.
* Communication Hub: Be the primary point of contact, facilitating communication between residents, families, staff, and external healthcare providers.
* Team Support: Assist with the recruitment, training, and supervision of administrative and support staff to ensure we have the best team in place.
* Event & Meeting Coordination: Help plan and execute facility events, meetings, and training sessions that foster team growth and enhance resident care.
* Resident & Family Support: Respond to inquiries and concerns in a compassionate, timely manner, ensuring residents and families feel heard and supported.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Education: A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Experience: Proven success in an administrative role, ideally in healthcare or a nursing home setting.
* Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
* Skills: Strong organisational, multitasking, and time-management abilities; exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Professionalism: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
