Job Overview:
The Office Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth administrative processes, and supporting various departments. As the first point of contact for staff, vendors, and clients, you will help coordinate office activities, manage schedules, oversee supplies, and contribute to the efficient operation of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee general office operations, including managing office supplies, equipment, and maintaining an organized office environment.
2. Provide administrative support to senior management, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
3. Manage incoming communications (phone, email, mail) and act as a liaison between different departments and external partners.
4. Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
5. Organize and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical, ensuring easy access to information.
6. Monitor and manage office budgets, including ordering supplies and tracking expenses.
7. Coordinate office maintenance, liaising with service providers to ensure the office space is clean, functional, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
8. Handle HR-related tasks such as coordinating new hires, maintaining employee records, and assisting with payroll administration.
9. Plan and execute office events, meetings, and team-building activities.
10. Provide support to other departments as needed, ensuring seamless communication and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.
2. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and comfortable with office technology (printers, scanners, etc.).
5. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
7. Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
8. High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
