What You'll Be Doing:
As a Technical Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing critical infrastructure and solving diverse technical challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Installing, upgrading, and maintaining system components, software, and hardware.
2. Ensuring data and network security, including firewalls, antivirus, and email protection.
3. Troubleshooting IT issues and managing tickets in line with our SLAs.
4. Supporting and administering servers, networks, storage systems, and operating systems.
5. Designing and implementing IT systems that align with our business and technology needs.
6. Leading patch management and maintaining documentation to industry standards.
7. Collaborating on projects to deliver innovative and robust solutions.
8. Training new joiners and providing advice to enhance technical capabilities across the team.
9. Staying ahead of technology trends to drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
We’re looking for a proactive, problem-solving technical expert with a passion for delivering exceptional results. You’ll bring:
1. 5+ years’ IT experience with extensive knowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, and InTune.
2. Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers, networks, and peripherals.
3. Expertise in Hyper-V environments and system security practices.
4. Hands-on experience with technical projects and troubleshooting complex systems.
5. Advanced communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
7. A full, clean UK driving license.
Desirable Skills:
While not essential, experience in the following areas will make your application stand out:
1. ITIL standards and SLA management.
2. Wireless networks, Apple Business Manager, or the Datto product suite.
3. Juniper, Cisco, or Draytek network devices.
4. Zabbix monitoring and 3CX VoIP systems.
