Staff Partners are currently looking for CAMHS Triage & Assessment Clinicians with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
We are supporting an NHS Trust in the Barking IG11 area.
On-going block bookings are available, and we are keen to find the best fit for you. We have a quick, easy, and free compliance process, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm or 5-8 pm evenings depending on staff availability.
Duration: No longer than 3 months.
Responsibilities:
1. To carry out initial assessments and robust mental health assessments.
2. Conduct risk assessments followed by risk management plans on all young people and children referred to CAMHS.
3. Focus on clearing ONLY the triage backlog and support with duty tasks.
The suitable candidate must have substantive CAMHS experience to work in a front door busy service.
Skills:
1. RMN Qualified Status.
2. NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council Registered).
3. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
4. Patient-centric & commitment to delivering high-quality care.
5. Fine-tuned decision-making skills.
6. Excellent organisational capability.
7. Effective communication skills.
8. Flexibility and a strong “can do” attitude.
