We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion to improve outcomes for children and young people who need it most. You will provide bespoke, targeted,and responsive support for persistent and severely absent pupils in our client schools.
We work with more than 6,000 schools across England and Wales and are searching for multiple candidates in our branch locations for full and part-time opportunities.

Your Experience
Experience of working in education, social care, community/youth work, military or other sectors with transferable skills and knowledge
Knowledge of:
Schooling in the UK
Pastoral care
Approaches to working with parents or carers
How to empower and enablepupils and parents/carers to help themselves
Having access to transport is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
To identify, engageand mentor pupils who are severely or persistently absent from school.
To hold a case load of pupils to engage in mentoring support and to build confidence in learning.
To encourage and motivate pupils to get back into the classroom and to improve attendance on an ongoing basis.
To work co-operatively with children's services, health agencies and other community-based services, to provide the most effective service for children young people and families.
To support the school with other tasks as required e.g., lunchtime cover.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
