Page Personnel are working with a well-established Professional Services business based in York who are seeking a proactive and experienced Finance Team Leader to join their team on an interim, 6 month period. Due to growth within the team, this is a newly created role offering an immediate start and a hybrid working arrangement.
Job Description
* Coordinate and oversee the financial activities within the department.
* Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
* Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
* Implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
* Work closely with other departments to forecast and manage budget.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
* Manage financial systems and databases, ensuring their accuracy and reliability.
* Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed financial reports and statements.
The Successful Applicant
* Previous experience in a finance role and confident with the duties listed above.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate team members.
* Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting procedures.
* Highly developed analytical skills and attention to detail.
