We are currently looking for reception staff to provide vital cover across both our primary care and primary care network sites.
You would be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, working in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment.
We are happy to consider applications from candidates who are interested in either full or part-time employment.
Core hours are between 08:00 am and 08:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Candidates will be required to work across 2 or 3 of our sites.
Main duties of the job
To provide a high-quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals, and others. To act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the practice/hub and to portray the practice in the highest possible professional basis. To ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently and courteously handled to the mutual satisfaction of the partners and patients.
About us
We are a large busy teaching practice looking after nearly 25,000 patients across three sites. We use the S1 clinical system. We also support the PCN hub situated behind Collingwood Surgery.
Job responsibilities

1. Being the first point of contact for patients and visitors, whether this be in person or by telephone.
2. Booking of appointments, processing medication, and dealing with documentation received into the practice.
3. Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to assist in the smooth running of the practice.
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience of dealing with members of the public
* Experience of working in an administrative role
* Experience of working in a primary care setting
* Experience of working with the System 1 clinical system
Qualifications
* GCSE Mathematics and English - grade A - C
