One of Plymouth's modern and ambitious employers is looking to hire an HR Officer / Manager to oversee and run their HR function for circa 80 employees. The role is strategic and pivotal in the business, with influence and input into day-to-day HR issues within the firm. Responsibilities include managing typical HR processes and practices, such as recruiting, training and onboarding new staff, benefits and retention, managing holiday, sickness, and maternity/paternity leave, and collating information for the external payroll company.
Additionally, the firm seeks someone to work closely with business leaders to develop new ideas and strategies during a potential upcoming period of positive transition. With part-time HR Admin support already in place and a strong team across the business, this is an opportunity to become a pivotal member of the management team.
