Job Description
Overview of the role:
As the Plant PLC Technician you will be supporting the Plant Operations Team to carry out electrical maintenance to Mobile Water treatment equipment. You will also be helping with routine maintenance tasks, regeneration operations, housekeeping and fault finding. This is a busy role within our team and there are plenty of opportunities to progress.
The role is based in Peterborough.
What will your day-to-day look like?
* Working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC software.
* Fault finding in control systems (PLCs', SCADA, DCS etc)
* Electrical and PLC support to the team.
* Producing documentation / drawings
* Maintaining electrical control systems
* Some PLC modifications and fault finding
* Maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
What skills will you have?
Experience in industrial electrical works
17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or NVQ3 in electrical based units, or similar
Drawing software skills.
