What skills and experience we're looking for
• Proven track record of outstanding Geography teaching or evidence of outstanding practice during training
• Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum requirements for the subject
• Experience of teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4
• Experience of teaching another Humanities subject (such as History, RS or PSHE) at KS3
• Proven track record of strong and effective behaviour management strategies
• Excellent ICT skills
• Excellent ability to analyse and interpret data and use it to secure high student outcomes
• Ability to communicate effectively and relate well to all stakeholders
• Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities
• Ability to work as part of a team
Desirable
• Experience of delivering Travel and Tourism Btec

We are seeking to appoint a candidate who is passionate about their subject area; a team player who will thrive on collaboration and team-work; someone who really wants to make a difference!
We are primarily looking for an applicant who can teach Geography, with a second Humanities subject required. We would also be interested in anyone with expertise of delivering Travel and Tourism Btec.
