Method Development: Create and validate innovative analytical methods for small molecule intermediates, APIs, and drug products (such as LC/GC-MS), delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations. Knowledge and Skills: Educational Background: MSc minimum in Chemistry (or related subject) required; PhD is preferred. Analytical Expertise: Extensive work experience (ideally 8-10 years) in analytical science with proven expertise in the development of pharmaceutical products or related chemical industries. Technical Proficiency: Skilled in developing robust methods using NMR, HPLC, GC, MS, and other techniques for API and DP analysis. Experience with chromatographic data systems from Agilent, Waters, Thermo, Shimadzu, etc. Scientific Communication: Ability to write clear, concise reports from complex data and communicate effectively in technical language with scientific peers and customers. Additional Skills: Knowledge of synthetic chemistry, physical organic chemistry, and/or catalysis is preferred. Strong data management and visualization skills are essential. Standards and Safety: Good understanding of applicable standards and HSSE principles.
