About the Role

We are searching for a Leasing Manager to support our Leasing Team based in London, United Kingdom.
The Leasing Manager will be responsible for providing leasing and property expertise to all Subway restaurants/FZE's across the UK and Ireland. Support our Business Unit SMO Team, BDs and FZEs in maintaining a strong property portfolio - particular focus on lease renewals, rent reviews, closures, relocations, remodels, and any other key lease milestones.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Coordinating, reviewing, and approving all lease documentation in relation to new sites,
2. renewals, rent reviews, deeds of variations, transfers, breaks, and surrenders.
3. Manage internal and external legal relationships/matters relating to our property leases.
4. Review and approve lease related payments with the finance teams (rent changes, dilapidations, company lease switching to direct lease).
5. Maintain key store and lease information/dates on SUBs/Tango systems. Provide weekly and monthly reports to assist with managing/mitigating risk.
6. Deal with all leasing related queries for the following weekly/periodic meetings: Pipeline / Temp Closures / Stores at Risk / Franchisee Portfolio Reviews
7. Willingness to travel if/when necessary. Occasional Regional Conventions/Conferences as requested. (UK & Ireland)
Skills and Abilities Required:
8. Bachelor's Degree in Property/Leasing/Estate Management or Surveying related degree preferred. Membership to Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors is a plus.
9. 7 to 10 years of leasing experience. QSR, Restaurant and franchising experience is preferred.
10. PC knowledge with the ability to use the following software programs: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel, Internet, Property Management System experience.
11. High degree of detail orientation and ability to work within time constraints. Must have strong organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, possess attention to detail, and should be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to adapt to different situations and personalities, while maintaining a degree of personal integrity, utilizing problem solving skills.
12. Must have a positive attitude, pro-active, highly motivated, excellent time management skills and detail oriented.
13. High EQ, capable of building relationships externally and internally.
14. Presentation skills and experience one-on-one, with small groups, and groups up to 30.
