Progress Teachers are working with a local mainstream Secondary School to appoint experienced and impactful teachers of Maths and/or Science. The successful candidate will be required to plan and deliver lessons to pupils across KS3/KS4, supporting them to develop key skills and competencies in the subject area(s), as well as fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities:
Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage pupils and help them develop key skills.
Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular assessment to monitor pupil progress, maintaining accurate records of outcomes.
Classroom Management: Manage classroom behaviour effectively through the consistent use of the School's behaviour policy.
Wider School Responsibilities: Engage and actively participate in wider professional responsibilities such as lunchtime duty, parents evenings, and transition open evenings as required by the School.
Qualification Requirements:
Teaching Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a focus on Maths/Science is highly advantageous, however, experienced non-qualified teachers will also be considered for the role.
Subject Knowledge: A degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or a related field is essential.
Teaching Experience: Proven experience as a Secondary teacher with a successful track record of student achievement is positive, but not essential. Strong ECTs will also be considered for this role.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, colleagues, and parents.
Commitment to Inclusion: A commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment that caters to the needs of all students.
