Garden State Dental is looking to hire a part-time Dental Hygienist for our office located in East Brunswick, New Jersey.
Garden State Dental is a well-established, successful practice, where we truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success. We understand the importance of technology and strive to keep up with the latest to ensure our hygienists have what they need to provide the best possible care to our patients. We're very excited to be adding Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and Overjet AI in the near future.
Position Overview:
This role focuses on delivering high-quality dental care through comprehensive oral health services and patient education. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier oral health care, enhancing patients' quality of life, and building lasting relationships within the community. Join our team and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives through exceptional oral care.
Schedule:
Thursday: 9 am - 6 pm
Saturdays: 8 am - 1 pm (1 or 2 per month)
Tuesday (optional): 8 am - 7 pm - at nearby office, Old Bridge Dental, if desired.

Previous experience is always a plus but we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well. The hygienist we hire must have an active New Jersey Hygiene License (or must be applying soon).
Our recently renovated East Brunswick office is located off Hwy RT 18, minutes from the New York border and just an hour drive from NYC. In addition to ample parking, our location is convenient to shopping areas and restaurants (great for lunch break).

Responsibilities

* Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
* Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
* Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
* Maintain accurate patient records, medical history and ensure compliance with industry regulations
* Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
* Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
