CLdN Automotive Ltd. is a Vehicle Enhancement Centre where vehicles are prepared for customer handover and commercial vehicles are built to fleet customers’ specifications. It is a busy, fast-paced environment and as the company continues its rapid growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a Technical Supervisor, working closely with the Workshop Supervisor to oversee all areas within the operation when required.
Your role
1. To ensure all operational tasks within Warranty, Technical, Van build & Bodyshop teams are carried out in a timely and efficient fashion by assigning responsibilities to and actively assist the operatives in the performance of their duties.
2. To ensure operational deliverables and customer requirements are planned and all targets are efficiently met.
3. To ensure all policies and procedures are followed by all staff members.
4. Ensuring staff adherence to all Health & Safety rules.
5. To ensure customer service, problem solving and professionalism are your main drivers.
6. To assist Management with projects, tasks, goals and reports.
7. To cover holidays and other absences when required.
8. To ensure that the quality of the work meets customer standards and expectations.
9. To ensure that staff training is at the required level and adheres to customer standards.
10. To work closely with other departments to ensure that customer expectations are met from a quality standpoint, as well as in a timely manner to meet the provided ETAs.
Your profile
1. Experience of working with prestige brands would be advantageous.
2. The position requires a flexible approach to working arrangements, a good understanding of vehicle components/bodywork, and health, safety, and quality standards.
3. You must have specific knowledge of vehicle enhancement.
4. Relevant experience in the Automotive Industry is required to ensure specific knowledge of the vehicle repair process.
5. Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures/work instructions and be able to follow them.
6. You must have excellent attention to detail.
7. Be able to prioritise tasks and plan workloads to ensure delivery to agreed timescales and accomplish objectives.
8. Ability to work to the highest quality standards.
9. Good communication and team working skills are essential.
10. Previous experience of leading a team would be advantageous.
11. Good IT skills.
12. You must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
