We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive individual to join a team as a Receptionist on a maternity cover basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients front-of-house services and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, handle general administrative duties, and coordinate travel arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Reception Duties: Greet visitors in a professional and welcoming manner. Answer and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area. Administrative Duties: Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry. Schedule and manage meeting room bookings. Provide support to various departments with ad-hoc administrative tasks. Upload sales invoices onto SAGE. Travel Coordination: Book travel and accommodation arrangements for staff, ensuring cost efficiency and attention to detail. Keep records of travel bookings and itineraries. Handle changes or cancellations to travel plans as needed. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a receptionist or administrative role. Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficiency in SAGE. Experience with booking travel and handling itineraries is highly desirable. A professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
