ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create measurement programs to drawing specifications and fully operate CMM.
2. Inspection of first offs, last offs, final component and assembly inspection, sub-contractor supplied parts.
3. Maintain records in adherence to quality systems.
4. Generate detailed SIM’s for non-conforming parts.
5. Be conversant with PPAP requirements.
6. Assist in machine trials.
7. Assist in gauge R&R studies.
8. Assist in collection of statistical data as required.
9. Supports all company and department activities associated with meeting the goal in the “Presidents Message”.
10. Adopts and practices Kaizen principles and concepts, participates in continuous improvement and GEAR activities.
11. Follows all general procedures as indicated in the General Procedures section of the Level 3 Procedures Manual.
12. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 9001:2014).
13. Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
14. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
