A popular school located in Enfield is interested in securing a Physics teacher to join their team this September 2024.
This Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school is seeking a teacher of Physics on a full-time basis to join their well-resourced team of 15 Scientists one being an Assistant Headteacher. The school is in the borough of Enfield walking distance of a range of transport link shops and amenities.
The school often employs overseas-trained teachers on their staff roll, teachers from Australia, New Zealand, and Canada and all have felt warmly welcomed and included. They have also sponsored teachers in the past.
This mixed school is in a leafy part of London, slightly north of London with great transport links allowing staff to travel in from various parts of London and Hertfordshire where the rental cost of a 1-bedroom property is reasonable. There are also opportunities to rent a room with other teachers from this and local schools.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND PHYSICS TEACHER CONTRACT:
A medium-size secondary school
Physics teacher will teach at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Alevel
The solid Science department – 15 strong with 2 technicians

THE RIGHT PHYSICS TEACHER WILL BE:
Hold a BSc and PGCE in Physics teacher
Confident with teaching GCSE Physics teacher
Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
THE SUCCESSFUL PHYSICS TEACHER WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Exceptional degree relating to Physics teacher
Teaching qualification
Eligibility to work in the UK
Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
Salary paid to scale – GBP190 – GBP235 per day Outer London pay
