My client in the Rochester area are currently seeking an IT Technician due to expansion. What you’ll be doing… The ERP Data Management Officer Reports to the IT Manager. Your Primary responsibility will be for Data held on the Company’s Efacs ERP System, although other Systems and Projects will also be allocated to your remit as required. The creation of this role coincides with a Company Project to refresh our use of the Company’s Efacs ERP System, and you will therefore help to support the Project Team in initially setting up Data as required, and then Formalising Data Change Control Procedures. The Collection of Data relating to Environmental and Sustainability issues, and it’s subsequent transfer onto the System, will also be a part of your responsibility. A day in your life might include… 1. Housekeeping: Developing and Running Routines to identify Data which is either absent or inaccurate, then investigating the Root Causes, and arranging appropriate remediation 2. Procedural Preparation: Creating, Documenting, and Implementing Data Entry and Change Control Procedures, Designed for simplicity of use, and the minimisation of user error 3. Data Development: Implementing the expansion of new Classes of Data onto the ERP System, in liaison with key stakeholders 4. Project Work: Working as part of the Project Team to ensure Data Collection, Insertion or Transfer onto the new Database 5. Data Protection/Security: Assist in ensuring the correct User Security Access for ERP Data, and assist in general Data Protection tasks What we need from you - Previous experience of using ERP Systems - Understanding of Manufacturing Principles and Environment - Basic SQL Server skills, with an understanding of Relational Databases - Good MS Excel and associated Analytical Skills - Solid general MS Office Competence - Ability to Communicate effectively, internally and Cross-Departmentally - Strong attention to Detail, with high level of Accuracy - Excellent Documentation abilities - The ability to think Critically Location: Rochester Salary: £32K Please respond with your most up to date CV to be considered for this role
