Job Title: Technical Sales Manager – Fenestration Sealing Foams
Industry Sector: Polyethylene (EPE), Polypropylene (EPP), Polyurethane (PUR), Sealing Foams, Fenestration, Windows & Doors, Curtain Walling and Self-Builders
Area to be covered: East of England (Nottingham down to Sussex)
Remuneration: £40,000 + 10% uncapped bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Fenestration Sealing Foams will involve:
1. Field sales role selling a comprehensive range of high performance sealing systems for all types of fenestration
2. 65% of your time winning specification with architects within façade contractors
3. 30% selling into fenestration installers
4. 5% selling into self-builders
5. Conducting CPD’s with architects
6. 70% of customers are London centric
7. Promoting a high margin low value sealing products, typically £200 per box
8. Tasked with achieving £180,000 turnover on the area (huge potential as other areas are achieving up to £1m)
9. Inheriting approx. 50-60 fenestration and façade contractor installers on patch
10. Approx. 50% new business development, 50% account management role
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Fenestration Sealing Foams with experience in:
1. Field sales experience from within the building products industry
2. Window sector experience is not essential as full product training and specification sales training will be provided
3. Would consider a branch manager with field sales experience
4. Comfortable travelling frequently into London either by train or car
5. Open to most building product backgrounds; any specific knowledge of windows, facades, hardware, ancillary products and sealants may be useful
6. Proven new business and account development skills
7. An understanding of the fenestration industry and ideally related building regulations surrounding conservation of energy may be of interest
8. Experience of selling into window fabricators and installers is not required
9. Able to educate clients and sell in a solution sales style
10. Confident, determined, positive outlook
11. Hungry, driven, ambitious
