Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the organization in delivering quality milestones related to the introduction of new and existing products, including implementation of IATF 16949 and AS9100 Rev D.
2. Prepare customer APQP and PPAP documents.
3. Promote customer-preferred techniques for continuous improvement, such as Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), and Measurement System Analysis.
4. Participate in cross-functional teams for the development of new products or changes to current products to meet customer requirements.
Main Duties:
1. Update FMEA, Control Plans, and internal documentation as required.
2. Contribute to the development and refinement of Design and Process FMEAs.
3. Perform statistical analysis of measurement results from capability studies and produce reports.
4. Interpret dimensional results and component GD&T.
Requirements:
* Proven background in quality assurance with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in presenting to customers and internal stakeholders.
* Positive attitude towards change and adaptability.
* Strong planning and organizational skills to manage objectives and priorities effectively.
Working Hours and Benefits:
Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 16:30; Friday early finish. Salary: £45,000 per annum. Benefits: Generous holiday allowance and pension scheme.
