Team Lead Children's Occupational Therapist
Your World is currently looking to place a Band 7 OT with extensive Children's experience into a locum role in Croydon.
Based in a fantastic Children's Service in Croydon, this position is ideal for an OT who needs a new challenge and wants to take their career to the next step. This position comes with the added bonus of working alongside an experienced team of healthcare professionals.

The ideal candidate for this role will have plenty of experience in UK Occupational Therapy positions and the desire to progress their career even further. You must possess a confident but friendly nature, plus the ability to work with patients from a range of age groups and backgrounds. As your patients will have different requirements, you must be willing to adapt your methods to match their specific needs. You must be highly organised and motivated to achieve the best outcome for your patients.
Requirements
* To manage a complex caseload of early year children providing specialised assessment's, intervention and provision of equipment.
* To provide a specialised standard of occupational therapy assessment and intervention for a caseload of children with a wide range of developmental difficulties, many of whom may have complex or multiple pathologies, in line with department’s priorities and policies
* To work across Health, Education and Social Services settings combining the traditional roles of both Health and Social Services Occupational Therapists as part of an integrated occupational therapy service for children, young people and their families in line with the Section 31 Partnership Agreement between Croydon Health Services and Croydon Council.
* To provide supervision and contribute to the development of junior occupational therapists, occupational therapy assistants / technical instructors and students, through the use of supervision, appraisal and development.
