We’re looking to recruit an Assistant Director of Finance to join our organisation.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working 36 hours per week and offering a salary of circa £86k per annum, depending on experience. You’ll also have the option to work a 9-day fortnight – have a day off every other week!
What you'll do
Strategic Lead for all finance functions including financial reporting, business partnering, treasury management and planning, transactions, and payroll for the Group.
Providing leadership to the Finance Team. Nurturing positive and productive relationships with leaders from across the organisation to support the achievement of our strategic priorities.
What you'll need
We ask that you are educated to degree level or equivalent experience, qualified to CCAB standards with one of the major accounting institutions eg ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA with a proven track record of working in the field of financial management and reporting at a senior management level.
You will have experience of working at a strategic level and a demonstrable track record of financial and operational improvement. Proven experience of driving the implementation, delivery and embedding of improvements to internal and external financial reporting and transactional services.
You will require experience of statutory reporting and the audit process, possessing a strong knowledge of relevant current and emerging financial legislation.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience of statutory reporting with a track record in successful project management and developing new solutions alongside extensive experience of budget and forecast setting.
