Internal - External Showroom Sales Consultant – Based Cheltenham Basic salary c£30,000 bonus, company van and excellent benefits and career development Candidates MUST hold a UK driving licence This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding luxury premium retail business who are seeking and an Internal/External Showroom Sales Consultant to join their retail team. As an Internal/External Showroom Sales Consultant, you will work in a dual role of which you will spend fifty percent of your time working in the showroom and the other fifty percent identifying potential new clients and customers within the Cheltenham area and relish in the challenge to win new business, find solutions and build long term relationships. As an Internal/External Showroom Sales Consultant, you will have a flair for interior design, with a proven career history of working within a sales role and ideally have experience of dealing with architects, specifiers, house builders, tilers, bathroom installers, shop fitters or similar. Working as part of the retail team you will be responsible for assisting customers offering a highly professional quality service in additional to selling an extensive portfolio of premium tiles to trade and retail customers. An understanding of the specification and design process and design background would be advantageous a long with any DIY knowledge with a willingness to learn the technical aspects of this role. Candidate Skills • You will be self-starter, who can work independently, as well as part of a team. • Possess excellent communication skills, written and spoken • Organise meetings and weekly plans effectively, to maximise efficiency • Able to influence people and approachable • Good problem-solving skills and highly numerate • Have a proficient level of IT skills, MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Able to work as part of a team and independently Internal Sales Duties • Meet and greet customers and provide exceptional customer service and guidance to all customers. Engage with clients to understand their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints. • Build strong relationships with clients, establishing trust and rapport to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. • Provide accurate and detailed product information, pricing, quotes, sales orders and after sales care to seamlessly facilitate the sales process. • Confident upselling various products and able to close the sales • Continually learn about the various product ranges, (training will be given) and continue to maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges and security practices. • Share your expertise with clients by providing insights and recommendations on design choices, materials, and finishes. • Assisting with showroom paperwork, be a key holder to open and close the showroom. • Take delivery of stock from the main warehouse and showroom • Update showroom displays, assist with the loading, transporting and delivery of goods to customers External Sales Duties • You will research, identify, and contact potential new business and customers. • Travel within the Cheltenham and surrounding areas of the showroom and conduct product meetings and presentations with the target market • Achieving specification and subsequently following through to sale • Develop and maintain a good rapport with new and existing clients within the geographic territory. • Keep up to date with current trends and project leads through research and communicating with industry contacts. • Project a positive image when representing the company to customers
