Full Job Description
This West Midlands based UK Manufacturing business is currently looking for an experienced & solutions-focused HR Manager to join the HR team and lead a team of 2, playing a pivotal role in the business. The role involves overseeing 2 sites, focusing on streamlining processes and continuous improvement, and driving organisational performance.
Key areas of responsibilities will include:
* Maximising operational efficiency through the evaluation, redesign, and implementation of HR processes.
* Collaborating with managers and leaders to align HR workflow with business needs and priorities.
* Ongoing analysis of HR metrics to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
* Advising managers on a broad range of employee relations issues, fostering a positive culture.
* Providing guidance on conflict resolution.
* Reviewing and updating policies to ensure they are legally compliant and aligned with business changes.
* Partnering with managers, overseeing the recruitment cycle, and advising on hiring processes to attract high-quality talent.
* Supporting talent planning initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development.
* Providing HR support to a second Midlands site, ensuring the approach is tailored to site-specific needs.
My client is looking for a proven, commercially minded HR generalist with experience managing a small team, a strong background in employee relations, and resilience to guide a business through a period of change. You must be a self-starter, able to challenge the status quo, and drive efficiency with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement.
