This new full-time post is immediately available until 29 September 2025 on a fixed-term basis. Although we are recruiting posts on a fixed-term basis, it is highly likely that, subject to funding, the posts can be extended. This post is an opportunity to join the research team on the NHS-funded Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme ( https://www.exeter.ac.uk/study/pg-research/degrees/psychology/dclinpsy/ ) which is in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences in the Professional Doctorates in Psychology (DCPGR) and Clinical Associate in psychology: Degree Apprenticeship (MCAPS) Portfolio. The role The role of Associate Lecturer (Education and Scholarship) will include supporting the student learning experience using a range of approaches and modes of delivery appropriate to the teaching allocated, specifically, under guidance, providing doctoral level research supervision of trainee research projects (empirical and quality improvement); of systematic literature reviews; and supporting the delivery of related activities which underpin the research modules of this programme. The post-holder will work in our lively and collaborative research team delivering excellent research training on this NHS-funded clinical training programme. This may be an exciting opportunity for a someone who has recently obtained their PhD or wishes to make a career move into Higher Education, to join the Research Team on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme. About you For an Associate Lecturer post you will: Possess a depth or breadth of specialist knowledge demonstrated by a PhD in Psychology, or equivalent qualification/experience, of the core knowledge relating to Clinical Psychology in order to teach and support learning on the research modules of the NHS-funded Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme. Staff at this level are expected to achieve Associate Fellow of the HEA within two years of appointment (if not already achieved) and to attend formal CPD relating to this. You may have expertise in qualitative, quantitative or mixed-methods approaches.
