Contract Scotland are working closely with a reputable fit-out contractor to source an experienced Site Manager to start on a project in Glasgow city centre. Known for delivering high-quality projects, this esteemed organisation seeks a professional and proactive individual with demonstrable experience managing high-end fit-out projects across a range of sectors including commercial, retail, hospitality and more.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day on-site management, ensuring timely delivery, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and adhering to H&S standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing project resources, including budget, schedule, and personnel.
2. Identifying and mitigating project risks.
3. Managing project scope, schedule, and quality.
4. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, project stakeholders and supply chain.
5. Providing leadership and direction to project teams while maintaining a strong safety culture.
6. Providing regular progress reports and updates to senior management and clients.
7. Problem-solving and managing any issues or changes that arise during the project lifecycle.
8. Liaising closely with the design and project teams to ensure alignment with project specifications.
Requirements:
1. Have demonstrable management experience within the construction industry, ideally fit-out and refurbishment.
2. Have a track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
3. Have experience leading projects from inception to completion.
4. Be a driven and strategic individual who is confident and motivated in working collaboratively toward the success of a shared goal.
