Small team of Angels required for sensitive soul - Whitley Bay - NE26
To provide support to a gentleman in the home with daily tasks and enabling. To support him to remain as independent as possible.
I am currently looking to recruit a small team of personal assistants/enablers to provide support for me in my home. The role will be to assist with personal care, meals, and the ordering of shopping and medication. I have a diagnosis of Parkinson’s and my home is partially adapted for this.
I have all the equipment in place to enable me to move around my home safely and with support. I am awaiting allocation of a wheelchair which, once I am confident around my mobility, I’m hoping to get out and about within the local community.
I will be looking to spend some enabling time to access some of my hobbies and interests. Once the team have become established and familiar with routines, I’m aiming to enjoy being out of my home. I enjoy music and arts, and I used to cycle a lot.
I enjoy watching TV, especially programs about the great outdoors. I used to produce music and my band friends visit me occasionally. I love dogs and have benefited from spending time with other people’s dogs in the past; therefore, I would be interested in doing this again where possible.
I am interested in healthy eating to maintain the healthy lifestyle that I have always followed.
