You will have an innovative mindset, keeping up with new technologies and be able to demonstrate the ability to learn from customer perspectives. Pre and Post Sales experience to work with Solution Architects in the client discovery phase through to Low Level Designs, technical documentation and acting as Technical Authority to guide the client through the Post Sales journey.In this role, you will also perform comprehensive assessments of existing IT services and transform the findings into detailed reports that can assist with identifying key improvement opportunities and understanding the roadmap for applying them.Working in collaboration with Solution Architecture and Project Management teams to create detailed designs to meet client requirements and where needed translate designs into functioning solutions.This varied role will involve a combination of working out of our clients head office in Cheltenham, remotely from home and moderate travel to client sites throughout the UK as required.Pre-Sale (approx. 25%):Work with the Solution Architecture team to provide a detailed Cost Model during the proposal stage of a client engagement.Assist the Solution Architecture team in workshops during the sales engagement by providing subject matter expertise around specific technologies.Post Sale (approx. 75%):Perform technical discovery assessments to gain comprehensive insights into client environments.To conduct peer review analysis of SOWs and Cost Models.Act as the technical authority and provide oversight, governance and ownership of large and complex transformation projects.To perform Technical Account Management and contribute to strategy roadmaps for allocated clientsBe responsible for the creation of both technical high-level and low-level design documentation of solutions as required, and ensure the technical consultants are following industry best practice and vendor architecture principles during the implementation.To be the technical authority on the solution portfolioTo translate the solution design into Technical Architecture documentationTo perform Technical Architecture activities, working with the client to obtain all technical information required to create the required collateralTo conduct technical design workshops as part of the post-sale design phase of a projectTo perform scoping activities and create the Project Scope, outlining the deliverables of the projectTo create Functional and UAT Test Plans associated with the deliverablesTo assist the Project Management Office with translation of the deliverables into a Project Plan as requiredTo present the Technical Architecture collateral to the client alongside the Project Management Office to facilitate scheduling of the projectTo perform technical discovery assessments to gain comprehensive insights into client environmentsTo assist with Project Delivery as and when requiredProvide technical leadership and guidance to the Technical Consulting team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.About youA passion for technology and a desire to stay ahead of the technology curve that will help us lead the market and exceed customer expectationsDemonstrate an ability to lead a project team, guiding them through complex projects and ensuring successful outcomesHave a deep knowledge and understanding of technical complexities, migration methodologies, and proven track record in the successful delivery of complex enterprise level engagements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate high level designs and articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.Self-motivated with the ability to identify priorities and manage multiple workloads.Exhibits excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and addressing technical challenges creatively and effectivelyAdapts to new technologies and changing business environments, maintaining flexibility in planning and executionMaintains a strong client focus, understanding client needs and translating them into effective technical solutionsExcellent time management skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining the highest quality of output.Demonstrate expertise in leading customer meetings, engaging in technical whiteboarding sessions, and meticulously documenting environment informationYou will have a proven track record in technical architecture engagements and the successful low level design of solutions.You will be certified to Architect level in Cloud, Modern Workplace or Datacentre technologies, holding industry accreditations equivalent to Microsoft AZ-305 /AZ-104 / AZ-140 / MS-102 / MD-102, HPE Master ASE, Aruba ACMP and Fortinet Certified Professional.TechnologiesYou will be required to keep up to date with the latest technologies and accreditations as per your personalised training plan.
