Sewell Wallis are partnering with a North Yorkshire business who are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to join their team.
You will be a qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/CIMA/ACCA with a strong technical background, looking to make the next step in your career.
What will you be doing?
1. Responsible for the financial accounting across the UK business.
2. Ensuring accurate and timely preparation, review and submission of all information required for all reporting requirements.
3. Taking ownership of business partnering across the wider teams and key stakeholders.
4. Responsible for compliance and development of internal and external accounting policies and procedures.
5. Ensuring a strong financial control framework is in place.
6. Working with external suppliers.
7. Reporting of complex technical accounting and managing relationships with external auditors.
8. Managing and developing a team of PQ and qualified Accountants.
What skills do we need?
1. Fully qualified Accountant with solid knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
2. Business partnering experience.
3. Experience of managing teams in a medium-large organisation.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders.
