Care Assistant – Join the Fun, Join the Family!
About Us
Abbotsford is a family-run care provider with seven care homes across Fife, dedicated to providing compassionate and person-centred care. Our care homes aren’t just buildings – they are our residents' homes, and we take pride in creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment.
About the Role
We’re looking for caring, compassionate, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team. You’ll be supporting residents in their home, helping them with daily personal care, companionship, and maintaining a clean, comfortable living environment. This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life every day.
Key Responsibilities
1. Providing compassionate care – Assist residents with personal care, including washing, dressing, and mobility support, while treating them with dignity and respect.
2. Emotional and social support – Build meaningful relationships with residents, ensuring they feel valued and at home.
3. Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment – Assist with light cleaning tasks to ensure a safe, pleasant living space.
4. Supporting independence – Encourage and support residents to maintain their independence as much as possible.
5. Teamwork – Work closely with colleagues to provide the best care possible, ensuring residents' individual needs are met.
What We’re Looking For
1. A caring and compassionate nature with a desire to support others.
2. Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
3. A team player with a willingness to help where needed.
4. Experience in care is welcome but not essential – we provide full training and ongoing support.
What We Offer
1. A supportive, family-run environment where you’ll feel valued.
2. Training and development opportunities to help you grow in your career.
3. A chance to make a real difference in people’s lives every day.
If you have a passion for caring and want to be part of a team that feels like family, we’d love to hear from you.
