An exciting opportunity has arisen at Teesside Hospice for an Area Manager within our Retail Department. A great opportunity for anyone wishing to progress further and enhance their leadership and management skills, whilst continuing to positively drive performance, ensure operational excellence, and support shop managers in delivering the highest standards of customer service and profitability.
This opportunity coincides with a new Head of Retail, and this is an amazing opportunity to make real change within the Teesside Hospice Retail Department. You will line manage a team of around 6 shops, around the Marske / Saltburn area, with this small area you will have the time to truly get to know the staff and volunteers. Have time to work on the shop floors and greatly influence day to day working. Essential to this role are people skills, excellent communication skills as well as developed organisational and interpersonal skills.
Our fantastic shops, led by managers and supported by volunteers, work with our amazing fundraising team to generate over £6M per year for the hospice. We use this funding to provide palliative and end of life care, lymphoedema treatment, bereavement support and wellbeing services that improve the quality of life of people across Teesside.
