Stannah have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join the Finance Department based at Watt Close, Andover.
This job will involve assisting with the preparation of management accounts for thirteen business units within the Home Accessibility division and Stannah Management Services. You will also pursue an accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) as part of your development in the role.
As the Assistant Accountant, you will work 8.30am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-1.30pm on Fridays. This job is a permanent contract.

To be successful as the Assistant Accountant, it is essential that you are AAT qualified or equivalent and have the ability to plan, prioritise and organise workloads. Proficiency in Excel and Experience of interpreting and reporting financial data is essential
Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing management accounts for international subsidiaries and UK business units
* Support budget preparation, balance sheet control, KPI reporting, and P&L analysis
* Analyse and allocate monthly employee expenses
* Support year-end processes for the wider finance team
* Build effective working relationships with subsidiary finance teams and internal budget holders
* Provide ad-hoc financial support to the wider finance team and senior leadership
* Pursue an ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent qualification as part of your development
Assistant Accountant Requirements:
* AAT qualified or equivalent
* Strong Excel and PC skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workloads
* Ability to interpret and report financial data clearly
* Positive, organised, and flexible with a can-do attitude
* Experience in finance or accounting support roles is desirable
