PEOPLE are at the HEART of everything we do.
This video gives a flavour of what it is like to work at our Trust and why some of our staff love working here.
BHRUT are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Chaplaincy & Bereavement Officer to work in partnership with the Medical Examiner service to ensure the completion of the Medical Certificate of Cause of Death (MCCD) for a patient, after the Medical Examiner has completed the scrutinizing. The post holder will also carry out all relevant Bereavement Officer duties.
The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to provide support for End-of-Life patients. You will need to be resilient, compassionate, and empathetic, and be able to manage your own feelings around all issues relating to end of life and dying.
All new staff appointed to posts at the Trust are subject to a probationary period. This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the culture and working environment of the Trust. The post provides significant opportunities for development as an individual. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a dynamic Chaplaincy and Bereavement department and develop the administrative aspect of the service.
