Role Overview As a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), you will be responsible for accurately assessing and estimating the damage on vehicles, ensuring that all repairs are completed to industry standards. Your role will be critical in maintaining our reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed. Prepare accurate and detailed estimates using industry-standard software (e.g., Audatex). Liaise with customers, insurance companies, and technicians to ensure clear communication and efficient processing of claims. Ensure all estimates comply with manufacturer and insurance guidelines. Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns and keeping customers informed throughout the repair process. Monitor the progress of vehicle repairs and ensure quality control. Maintain accurate records of all assessments and repairs. Requirements Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) in the automotive repair industry. Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and damage assessment. Proficiency in using estimating software (e.g., Audatex). Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant qualifications in vehicle damage assessment or equivalent.
