Our client is seeking an Operations Manager who will not only oversee daily manufacturing operations but will also play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead from the front, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while championing lean methodologies, process optimisation, and New Product Introduction (NPI) to improve overall manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager:
1. Oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and efficiency metrics are consistently met.
2. Lead and embed a Continuous Improvement culture, driving Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste.
3. Work cross-functionally to design and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
4. Promote a culture of operational excellence, training and coaching employees at all levels to adopt best practices.
