Responsibilities of a Supervisor:
Oversee daily retail operations of the garden centre, ensuring high standards of customer service and product presentation.
Supervise and support staff, providing training and guidance to enhance team performance.
Manage inventory levels and assist with stock ordering and merchandising.
Engage with customers to provide expert advice and recommendations on plants, gardening supplies, and services.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Experience and background:
Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a retail or garden centre environment.
Strong knowledge of plants and gardening practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage a team effectively.
