Summary
The AHU Site Supervisor will report to our Cramlington Office and can be based remotely either in the North or the South but will be expected to travel daily within the UK and overseas. The primary function of this role will be to work on-site to manage the AHU site, Refurbishment, Test and Spares and support AHU Projects as well as Warranty and Quality Control. They will develop, perform, and supervise service programmes for start-up, testing on all Daikin projects and sites.
Main Responsibilities
The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
1. Performs service on-site work, installation, site test, maintenance warranty and service directly or through site services supervisors, engineers or sub-contractors.
2. Performs or assists in repairing and modifying equipment at the customer's installations in the UK and abroad.
3. Carries out and/or provides technical instructions to site service supervisors/engineers and subcontractors regarding equipment installation, operation, repair, and maintenance at customer installations.
4. Adheres to Company policy for Quality Assured service standards, Health & Safety standards and Environmental Standards.
5. Maintains site service records and reports on all service assignments and departmental activities.
6. Performs site testing, maintenance, and installation service and repair projects.
7. Carried out and organised testing of equipment at the site.
8. Understands and accepts company policy about travel allowance and subsistence and recognises that some weekend overtime work will be required.
9. Pricing and preparing quotations.
10. Compiles RAMS and Site visit surveys.
11. Point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth transition of work.
12. Supervisor/client training.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
14. IT Literate - Confident user in Microsoft Office.
15. Understanding AHU products would be beneficial.
16. Knowledge of Salesforce is highly desirable.
17. A good understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace is essential.
18. Supervisory skills preferred.
19. Good Communication Skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Qualifications/Experience:
1. Mechanical Engineering Degree/HNC/HND - Preferred.
2. STS Preferable to work on-site - Preferred.
