Job Description We have a great opportunity for someone to join our award-winning Pension Risk Transfer business as a Team Manager in the Loading Services Team. In this role you will proactively manage a team of Loading Specialists to ensure that pension scheme data is loaded into the Admin System accurately, effectively and efficiently. You will also provide the team with the support they need outside of their day-to-day responsibilities to thrive and develop themselves further. Whilst technical pensions knowledge is preferrable for this role (ideally with specific experience/knowledge of DB Pensions) we would be open to applications from various backgrounds, as long as there is a desire from that individual to learn about the technical aspects of the role on the job and they have previous people and task management experience. What you'll be doing: Ensuring the team is providing an efficient loading service to the business both during the installation phase and once the FDS has been signed. Understanding the demand for scheme loading & policy document distribution to ensure that the team can facilitate this demand and that the team’s workflow is recorded correctly to ensure accuracy of work tracking and management information. Designing, implementing and maintaining an annual rolling plan for outstanding scheme loading activities; prioritising against customer/business/regulatory/cost need and delivering against the plan. Managing and developing the controls, processes and documentation for all aspects of the loading and policy document production process. Managing, motivating and developing team members to maximise the overall performance of the team. Which will include identifying development needs/progression opportunities for individuals and providing them with the relevant training/coaching required. Acting (over time) as a technical expert for all Loading and Policy Document queries, which could include being utilised as the Society’s contact and expert on sensitive or priority schemes, acting as the focal point for queries and having responsibility for interpreting and keeping up to date with current pensions legislation and HMRC practices. Checking (over time) individual scheme loads as required, ensuring that data and rules are loaded accurately, and all test calculations are documented. Ensuring that customers Policy Documents are issued correctly and on time.
