Description
The Bell Inn, located in the heart of Walberswick, is a restaurant offering freshly prepared, home-cooked meals and six bedrooms. We are looking for a skilled Chef De Partie to work in our commercial kitchen, with a "hands-on" approach and experience in a similar environment. You will be a key member of the kitchen brigade, supporting the management of stock and monitoring wastage, and contributing to the planning and implementation of menu ideas. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes, and overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards. As a Chef De Partie, you will have the opportunity to learn different aspects of the kitchen sections, including hot and cold, larder, sauce, and butchery. You will be expected to work under pressure, have great communication skills, and be a team player, working in conjunction with the Front of House team to ensure our guests' stay is always memorable. The role requires flexibility, with the ability to cover a variety of shifts per week, including bank holidays and weekends.
