Salary: £45,000.00 plus overtime at 1.5 and the opportunity for call out / standby to site if you want to join but not essential.
Hours of work for the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Mechanic / Truck Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic / LGV Mechanic / Large Goods Vehicle Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician: 40 hours a week - Monday to Friday Alternating Split Shifts - rotating weekly of earlies and lates

My client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician to join one of their Workshops in Lincolnshire area.
As a HGV Technician for my client, your role is to keep customers vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance.
Job role of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Fleet Mechanic / Truck Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic / LGV Mechanic / Large Goods Vehicle Technician / Commercial Vehicle Technician:
* Performing major and minor repairs to heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles
* Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services such as tyre rotation and oil changes
* Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
* Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles
* Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
* Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies
* Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management

* Industry qualifications achieved to a minimum of Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or mechanical engineering (all modules completed) Heavy Vehicle Qualification
* Previous working experience as an HGV technician with a strong technical background
* You are confident using technology
