About the Practice/Department/Team
The Patient Services teams are made up of reception/prescription/secretary and administration. All of which are an integral part of the running of the surgery.
Job Introduction
This is a position working within the reception team answering incoming calls to the surgery and dealing with reception related administration work. It will also involve working on the reception desk and receiving patients and other visitors to the surgery and dealing with their queries. You will be trained on all the relevant procedures for the department.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities will be:
1. Answering the telephone
2. Working on the front desk
3. Issuing prescriptions
4. Completing reception related administration work
Essential Criteria
1. Customer Service Skills
2. Experience of working in a busy & multi-functional team
3. Call centre experience or equivalent
4. Experience of using Microsoft office packages
